In a lot of my recent post I’ve been talking about “starting fresh” and a “new start” but I haven’t really specified what my goals were for this upcoming year! First and foremost I will be posting way more often now that I have found a great balance that leaves me time for both schoolwork and personal interests. But anyway, I literally live my life on my iPhone Notes app and some of the ideas such as incorporating food, lifestyle, and music into my blogging style. I really want to keep up the OOTD’s, inspiration boards, and wish list. My main goal for this year is to find my “voice” (as fancy writers say) and really show how I’m different than any other fashion blogger! The last element that I really want to start incorporating is my personal life into my blog! I feel like I’ve been here so long, yet no one knows anything about me, so that will change for sure! Since I started the blog in July of 2013 I feel like I was in a metaphorical straightjacket (???) with what I posted, but with all these new ideas and perspectives that are forming I feel like there will be positive changes in my blog!
In short I want to:
I’m super excited for what is to come and thank you all for joining me on my adventure into blogging.
Lastly I want to start sharing quotes that I enjoy and just giving you my take on it.
“Stop waiting for Friday, for summer, for a boy to fall in love with you. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make something of the moment you’re in right now.” -Unknown (Sorry!)
I love this quote because it completely sums up my new goals for this year! I want to seize the moment and give everything my all right then and there ,so that I know when I am finished, I tried my best no matter what the outcome!
Besides the fact that the highlight of today was getting Chipotle (and trying sour cream for this first time, yumm)… it’s finally January, my favorite month not only because it’s a fresh start, but it’s my birthday month! My birthday is January 21, 2013 and I cannot wait. As another part of my fresh new start I’m starting monthly wish list posts! So let’s get to it!
1. Nocturnal Mesh Sweater, Tobi, $28.00
2. Flirt Velour Skirt, Tobi, $38.00
4. On My Knees Leggings, Tobi, $30.00
5. Loose-fit Pants, H&M, $29.95
7. The Fashion Book, Amazon, $45.10
8. Naked Basics, Urban Decay, $27.00

I’m so excited because it’s a brand new year, 2014 which means more opportunities to blog! Last year I wasn’t very faithful to posting but one of my resolutions is to post more often! I’m also going to have more fun with this and really start to express myself more! On that note I’m starting a type of post which will be my tumblr post inspirations of the week! These pictures will be selected from my tumblr, http://i4nthe.tumblr.com, and collaged for you guys to see what was going through my mind all week! I’m really excited about what is to come this year and thank you all for sticking with me through 2013!

NARS, Disco Inferno Shimmer Nail Polish $19.00
Chanel, Peridot 531 Nail Polish, $26.00
Butter, Knackered Nail Polish, $15.00
Hi Lovlies!
This is one of my -Days Till Christmas Posts (we’re on day 10?). So merry tenth day! As you can guess, this post is all about my new obsession over iridescent nail polish, but I’ll do it anyway….
On the 10th day of Christmas my followers gave to me…..10 shiny nails!
First of all it was a total coincidence that on the tenth day I chose nail polish, and you have ten fingers so….yeah (this is where you laugh), but I am honestly obsessed with this new type of nail polish. So many of my friends came up to me and said one moment they looked gold, and the next they were blue, and in that moment I became addicted. Since my original purchase of a Sephore version of the Chanel Peridot 531 I’ve bought three more polishes in pink/gold, blue/purple, and green/gold! I truly am in love with this trend and I hope you guys might try it sometime! If you want to try it or tried it please leave a comment!
Keep Blogging ❤
P.S. Can you guys start to leave comments on what you want to see me post in the new year? Thanks so much! xoxo
Hi lovelies! I’ve missed you for about 4 months (good god!) because of the start of school (start of uniforms), much more homework in this grade, and just learning how to balance it all! I’ve missed you guys so much and I hope you feel the same! My friend (Initials MM 😉 helped me get motivated to start up again, so I’m really excited! My new theme is to post everyday under the theme…..drumroll please…..13 days till Christmas! Everyday I’ll post something that I either want for Christmas or something I bought around the season, the segment will finish off on Christmas Day with a huge Christmas Haul! So…..
On the 13th day of Christmas my followers gave to me 13 flawless lashes! Mascara of course!
My new favorite mascara (of all time) is Benefit They’re Real mascara ($23.00), and the name surely lives up to the results! I should’ve know it was great when all the workers in Sephora stopped me and told me I’d fall in love with it, and I guess they were right! I’ve never received so many mascara compliments in one day, and I’ve never felt so satisfied with a mascara purchase. It lengthens and volumizes making it a double threat that can’t be beat. Sadly I don’t have time to review tonight, but I will make sure to post one soon!
This mascara is amazing and I’d be so happy if just a few of you guys tried it! If you do tell me what you think (be honest)! Well until tomorrow….

I’ve recently had writers block (it sucks!) so I’d love if you guys could help me with ideas! Please comment ideas for post, items you would like for me to review, new segments that I could post about, and any other suggestions! Thank you so much for all the support! Keep blogging ❤
Today I decided to hang out with my family around the town so I wanted to wear something that was basic, but still was in the summer-y season! Here we go!
The top is from Forever 21, and the black shorts are from Target. I really like this outfit for the loose flowy shirt that gives both style and comfort, plus these shorts are just so comfortable. I tucked the shirt into the shorts to avoid my shorts disappearing since the shirt is rather long. Thanks for reading and Keep Blogging! ❤
I’ve been nominated by the wonderful blog Not So Vague Vogue and I’m really excited to answer her questions so that you guys can get to know me better!
The Liebster award is an award given to blogs with 200 or less followers to be congratulated for all their hard work! I feel especially honored to get this award because Liebster in German means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.
Rules of the Liebster Award:
LETS GET TO THE QUESTIONS!
Q: What can you not live without?
A: This is something that’s really weird to think about, but when it really comes down to it I couldn’t live without my phone. Once I dropped my phone in a toilet (at the Hunger Games premiere) and I couldn’t get a new phone for a week, I practically went insane.
Q: If you could change your first name, what would you change it to?
A: Well I’ve thought about this maybe 1,000 times since my name is Ianthe, possibly the most difficult name to master. If I could change it to anything I’d change my name to Claire. 🙂
Q:What is your favorite food?
A: Favorite food hands down is macaroni and cheese!
Q: What is one of your biggest fears?
A: I have a fear of heights that I hate to admit. Its weird because I’ll go for it and go to high place then the moment I stand my stomach starts dropping and I can’t handle it. Storytime: Ok so once I took a field trip to the air and space museum and there was this really high balcony where you could see the planes up close, so I went up with my friends and they’re all just walking around when I start to get the stomach feeling then I fall, and I have to basically crawl to the elevator so I could go back to level one. Yep and I say I’m not afraid of heights…ok…
Q: If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what song would it be?
A: Listen to Youth by Daughter. I literally love that song and I can’t get enough!
Q: What is one thing that makes you smile?
A: A surefire way of making me smile is to just crack a joke or just being yourself, I promise you anyone can make me smile.
Q: What kind of super power do you wish you had?
A: If I could have any super power I would probably choose being able to pause time. I would totally get my popcorn quicker, and make my own chipotle burrito (don’t worry I’d still pay) then I’d press play and walk out with my yummy food 🙂
Q: If you could become a character from a movie, TV show, or book, what character would you be and why?
A: I’d probably become Jo, from the new show Twisted on ABC family. Its actually pretty weird because we’re so similar, plus I’d love to live in her town and deal with Danny.
Q: Do you prefer your hair straight or curled?
A: This is such an easy question: straight
Q: Would you rather give up lipstick or give up eyeshadow?
A: I’d give up lipstick rather than eyeshadow! I love eyeshadow so much I have a problem where I just buy a lot at one time….don’t judge
And here are my Nominees!
And now for my questions for you!
I’m really excited to read you’re answers and congrats on being nominated!
Ombré nails is a trend that I knew about for the longest time, but never could master! I tried to achieve the look with a makeup sponge but that was a total fail. But this time I got it, and I love them. They’re really simple to do and they also turn out amazing in the end! Tips before you start, you can tape around you nails or even liquid glue and let it dry (sounds weird but it works perfectly), to reduce the amount of nail polish that’ll be on the skin around nail, and second is that these nails took me a while so make sure you have time!
